“Our Accountability Era: How Outcomes-Based Contracts Drive Student Achievement,” an EdWeb webinar will be held on Nov. 13 at 4 PM ET.
We’re proud to share that Hamburg’s own Lesley Nelms will be a featured guest speaker! 🙌 Lesley has written the HIT Grant and secured over $1 million in High Impact Tutoring funding from ADE. She’s also implemented Outcomes-Based Contracting across Hamburg’s tutoring initiatives—making Hamburg the only district in the SEARK Cooperative using this model.
Lesley recently presented at the 2025 Convening for the Center of Outcome-Based Contracting in Orlando, sharing Hamburg’s success story with educators from across the nation.

DCTE advisors met with classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators to provide an overview of the updated Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway revisions set to launch in the 2026–27 school year.
Participants reviewed revised standards, explored curriculum and certifications, and learned how these updates will enhance student recognition through Merit and Distinction. 🌟

The SEARK Education Service Cooperative joined education cooperative directors and teacher center coordinators from across the state for another incredible year of collaboration and learning. Participants explored the latest updates and initiatives shaping the future of Arkansas education.
Attendees heard powerful insights from AAEA, the DESE Leadership Team, and Arkansas Secretary of Education Jacob Oliva, who shared valuable perspectives on supporting schools and strengthening student outcomes.
