He lives the words on his logo & strives to positively #IMPACT all he meets. A master storyteller, Andrew engages his audiences and fellow leaders with authentic and heartfelt stories, memorable props, and collaborative, fun, & thought-provoking activities. After leading in Port Jervis Schools, NY as a Principal & Assistant Principal for 20 years, Andrew is the new director of Communications & Academic Services beginning in the 23-24 school year. He is a former men’s Division One college basketball referee having officiated in the ACC, A-10, Colonial, MAAC, Patriot, IVY, and NEC conferences. This professional development session is designed to help educators enhance their teaching practices through a variety of impactful tools and strategies. Participants will explore the DOK framework, unpack PLDs, and dive into MIPs to design targeted interventions. We’ll also explore the use of testlets and collaborate on developing tailored intervention strategies.

Today, we welcomed a new group of Southeast Arkansas educators for another powerful session with Erik Francis, who continued leading Diffusing Depth of Knowledge based on his insightful book. Some of our very own SEARK specialists joined in the learning as well! Meanwhile, around 20 SEARK staff members took time during their lunch breaks to attend a Lunch & Learn with Art Singleton of Hashem Law Firm, investing in their futures with valuable insight on estate planning through his session, "Leave a Legacy, Not a Mystery!"
