🏅🔬 Blue-Ribbon Science Starts Here!
For three days, SEARK Education Service Cooperative welcomed 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science teachers from Monticello, Crossett, and Woodlawn for a blue-ribbon professional learning experience! As the first three districts to adopt the new Issues and Science by Lab-Aids High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), educators stepped into the role of students, exploring lessons and preparing to bring engaging, hands-on science instruction to their classrooms. By hosting the training at the Co-op, the participating districts were able to collaborate and share the cost of this valuable professional learning, demonstrating the power of working together to support educators and student success.

Opportunities like the ADE Summit allow us to bring back fresh perspectives, valuable resources, and innovative strategies to better serve the educators and students throughout Southeast Arkansas. We’re excited to put these ideas into action during the upcoming school year!
